Can four of the Seagulls rise in the Beatway Golf Challenge? – Golf News

Brighton & Hove Albion FC are currently enjoying their fifth consecutive season in the Premier League, following their promotion in late 2017, and seem fortunate to be on the top flight of English football despite the recent upheaval.

Despite scoring just 26 goals in 30 games, their middle table position in the league has largely come down to their defensive unit, which has scored just 36 goals, one less than Tottenham, who are currently in fourth place.

But when the Seagulls defenders Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy and attacking midfielders Adam Lalana and Pascal Gross have shown themselves to be quite decent performers on the football pitch in recent seasons, what are they like as a golf club in their hands?

To find out, the fourteenth set out to settle the score in a special golf match, Batway Golf ChallengeDunk and Lallana will face off in a series of course challenges against teammates Duffy and Gross to see who is the best golfer before the Masters.

Playing at West Hove Golf Club, just a few miles from Brighton’s Amex Stadium, the challenge involves lots of banners, some non-textbook golf swings and some amazing results, as the gorgeous four longest drives, the nearest bunker shot. And the nearest-the-pin competition.
