Short adversity for this year’s Masters winner – Golf News

Right in the corner of the Masters today we are going to take a look at who is currently the favorite to pick up the most creatively designed trophy in the sport. Saw last year Hideki Matsuyama Win the tournament after playing some stunning golf, but we’ll see who leads the board on the day of the final on April 10th. You can check out some great adversities On this pageAnd the current favorites here are just one month away from the tournament.

John Raham +850

There is no doubt that he is playing golf, John Rahm is a favorite to pick up any golf trophy right now. Currently the best player in the world, Rahm has finished four of the top 10 in Augusta and there is nothing to indicate that he will not take things one step further this year. This guy is just incredible, finishing 5th in last year’s competition after giving birth to his wife after little preparation. Rahm is easily add-ons favorite.

Colin Morikawa +1000

Morikawa’s odds have been really small recently becoming the second favorite from +2200. This is a golfer who knows what it takes to win a major, having won 2 of the last 8. If anyone is going to challenge Rahm, Morikawa looks like that guy.

Dustin Johnson +1200

In 2020 Johnson completely stamped his dominance in the competition and easily won the trophy after playing some exceptional golf. While he may miss last year’s cut, it’s clearly something he’ll want to keep right in 2022 and his recent form has pushed him toward the board’s third choice to do just that.

Jordan Spith +1200

Some players just love Augusta and that’s why Spith tied for third place to win this year’s competition. We’ve seen Spith deliver some incredible displays on this course and he’s a golfer who knows what it takes to give a big winning performance.

Justin Thomas +1400

Despite the fact that Thomas never really set foot in Augusta, his best finish so far was 4th in 2020, he has been in great form for the last 12 months. In a new way his iron game has been seen to improve dramatically and he is a delicious outsider for lifting trophies.

The Masters is the final part of the puzzle that Rory has to fulfill his career grand slam and this could certainly be the year he goes ahead to deliver it. He missed the cut last year, but that’s something he’ll want to keep right in this year’s tournament. Mcllroy is playing very well on the tour this year, and if he can take that form in this major, he has a great chance to finish the slam in the end.

Which would be your best pick for this year’s Masters?
